There are some artifacts on display that go all the way back to the 1870s. That includes old bats and jerseys. It even has memorabilia from Babe Ruth's tour of Japan going back to 1934.

2 - Unique artifacts - 

One unique artifact on display is a Katana that a legend of the sport used to use for practice. His name was Sadaharu Oh. with a Japanese world record 868 career home runs.

3 - Trophies and kits worn by professional players - 

There is a whole oval room that has glass cases on each side of the rounded sides filled with jerseys and bats worn and used but past players and trophies in the middle of the room.

4 - Sports memorabilia - 

There are over 100 sports artifacts within the museum and they range from retro baseball trading sports cards. Game worn items such as jerseys, gloves, caps, bats and also autographed memorabilia.

5 - Hall of Fame - 

Within the museum they have a large long room completely filled with plaques showcasing and honoring past players and also managers of the sport. Those who made a huge impact on the sport. 

The most impactful thing at the museum would have to be the plaque room. Purely based on the fact it's filled with so much rich history of legendary players and managers who gave everything to the sport of baseball in Japan. The plaque room has over 200 bronze plaques ranging from the earliest one being from a player in the class of 1959 all the way up to players in the class of 2026. This just further shows that baseball is so embedded into the routes and culture of Japan and shows that Japan is so rich in history when it comes to baseball.

The museum has a single-floor layout, making it wheelchair friendly and has accessible washrooms. Opening times

The opening house for the museum can vary and change depending on events happening on the day as well as holiday. However, the typical open times for the museum will consist of being between 10:00 through to 17:00. With the exception of staying open until 18:00 if a professional baseball game is being played on the day at the Tokyo Dome.
