Japan Airport Transfers

Straight from arrivals to wherever you're headed.

After a long flight there’s nothing better than being able to just relax and let someone else handle all the logistics.  Traveling by train or bus after just arriving can be exhausting, there’s so many options and types of trains. Not to mention, many  flights arrive at the time trains are the most crowded.

Departures can be equally as stressful, with the added pressure of missing a flight if something goes wrong. The morning before a flight is never an easy one, you’re busy tyring to capture the last few moments in Japan, make sure you’ve completed all the shopping on your list and may be sending a few emails.

Tokyo Narita

Japan's main international gateway, roughly an hour from central Tokyo — though "an hour" can stretch well past that in traffic. We plan around this from the start, so your first stop in Japan is unhurried, not a race against the clock.

Tokyo Haneda

Closer to the city than Narita, and now serving a growing number of international routes too. Less transfer time means more time actually in Tokyo — ideal if your itinerary starts on a tight schedule.

Kansai International Airport

Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe

Built on its own island in Osaka Bay, Kansai is the single arrival point for travelers splitting time across the region — Kyoto's temples, Osaka's food scene, and Kobe's harbour, all reachable from one gateway.

Chubu Airport Nagoya

A quieter, easier entry than Tokyo or Osaka, and well placed for travelers heading straight into central Japan — the Japan Alps, Takayama's old town, or Nagoya itself.

New Chitose Airport

Sapporo and Greater Hokkaido

Hokkaido's main gateway, usually reached by a short domestic flight rather than direct arrival from abroad. From here, Sapporo and the island's ski country — Niseko included — are close at hand.
