Why does TokudAw LITE offers fixed pricing?
Many popular transportation apps in Tokyo have variable pricing depending on the time of day. Periods at the beginning of the day before train service, at the end of the day when the trains just completed service, or during peak travel times such as sakura or cherry blossom season, or even traffic conditions surge pricing may be applied. TokudAw LITE operates on a fixed-fee basis, so you will know the price ahead of time regardless. The service is that all the bookings and planning is on one website, so there is no need to go out of your way to download extra unneeded apps. The TokudAw LITE service does allow Credit card only payments.

Most other services only offer a certain car type where with TokudAw LITE you can choose your vehicle type. Such as a van (up to 9 guests plus 1 driver) all the way up to a microbus (up to 15 guests plus 1 driver).
Early morning and late night hours available. Sometimes catching the early train from Tokyo station or the first flight in the morning is unavoidable. TokudAw will help you catch your flight or train even in the difficult hours of the day. Please book at least 3 days ahead to ensure service is available.
Vetted drivers. We vet all our driver’s character and habits, ensuring all drivers are high quality with our vans cleaned out and put in perfect condition from any strong odours or mess.

What areas does TokudAw LITE cover?
TokudAw arranges private transfers to areas in and around Tokyo-only, including the Tokyo 23 Wards, Haneda Airport, Narita Airport, Tokyo Station, and Tokyo Disney Resort, with the originating destinations of one of the Airports, Disney or Tokyo Station. For areas outside of these zones, such as Yokohama, Chiba, or Kanagawa prefectures, or even Hokkaido, Okinawa and Nagano, the regular TokudAw service can support your request. How long will the driver wait at the airport?
If being picked up at an airport, up to a 90 minute wait time as we understand airports can experience delays at customs and immigration. We will track your flight and monitor for early arrivals or late arrivals. However for non-airport pick ups our drivers will wait for at most 15 minutes. You will not have to worry about our drivers being late either as they will have a schedule to follow. In addition to this our drivers will ring the doorbell or let the guest services at the hotel know depending on your accommodation.
How will your drivers know when I land?
When booking on our website you will be able to fill out a form that includes the following:
Flight arrival date
Flight arrival time
Flight number
This ensures the driver knows when they should be expecting you to arrive in the airport. The TokudAw team actively monitors our guests reservations and will adjust to any delays or changes in the schedule identified. If your flight plans change from those originally shared, please notify us.
