This high-concept "select shop" pops up every winter inside Skye Niseko, Setsu Niseko, and Park Hyatt Hanazono.

2. The North Face Gravity (Hakuba & Niseko)

These massive hubs feature in-house cafes and are the only places to buy location-exclusive hoodies branded with "Niseko" or "Hakuba." On another note, in 2024, a local Niseko Sports' original brand YAMA PLUS collaborated with Hello Kitty in a dream collaboration to sell T-shirts and pullovers! Hakuba: Visit The North Face Gravity Hakuba—a massive two-story space with a cafe. Just a few minutes away is Patagonia Hakuba, which features a rare outlet section for discounted gear. 3. Patagonia (Hakuba)

A short distance from the Hakuba train station lies the Patagonia outlet store, a two-story store with incredible views of the Alps. 4. Snow Peak Land Station (Hakuba)

A perfect spot to hang out, admire the views of the Japanese Alps while enjoying some Starbucks brews and shopping for both local items and high-performance gear from Snow Peak while admiring the stunning architecture. 5. Montbell Hakuba Happo (Hakuba)

Located on the second floor of the Hakuba bus stop, visitors will find Hakuba-specific items such as graphic tees. It is a great spot to spend a few extra minutes before meeting your TokudAw transfer.

  1. Tax-Free: Show your passport to save 10% consumption tax on the spot for purchases over ¥5,000. Starting in Fall 2026, this tax rebate is no longer given at the point of purchase, but must be redeemed at the airport pre-security.
